John Da Silva

AGI's Managing Director, John, has always been passionate about sports and the outdoors. He is a proud family man, with a sporting background in track and cross-country running.  Born and raised in South Africa, John emigrated with his family of 5 to New Zealand in 1996, joining AGI several years later in 1999.  John took on the role of Managing Director in 2005 and has been a driving force in developing AGI since onboarding their first brand, And1 (2000), Keen (2003), and Under Armour 2005. John’s role over the years has evolved, after seeing the staff grow from 5 people across the business to today employing over 50.

Chris Blair

Chris Blair joined AGI in 2017 with a huge passion for building retail brands, and over 20 years of industry experience.  

With an impressive sporting history, having represented NZ in Badminton at the Commonwealth games, Chris channels his interests well within his role at AGI. He leads his team with family values, culture and spirit – creating a rewarding environment for everyone involved.  

As General Manager, Chris works closely with each department across AGI to drive their success – delivering accurate reports on the financial performance of the business.
